Thomas Kaiser inherits an ancestral mansion that has been in his family for generations — only to learn that he has also inherited an ancient curse stemming back to the Crusades. Forced into his new role as "protector" — the guardian appointed to keep the evil demons in the house at bay — Thomas teams with an ambitious local realtor and paranormal cleric to unravel the mystery of the house, while struggling to awaken the beautiful Briar Rose, held captive in a terrifying netherworld seen previously in his dreams.

I loved this movie I liked the twist they put in it and hope they make a second the ending so cool

Nice costumes? Right away, felt like watching Grimm knock off with lesser lighting. Interesting premise but right away one knows "bad" is good and pretty girl is evil. Throw in a nod to Dr.Who's angels and yahtzee, creepy mannequins walking. At least they didn't drag it past evil unleashed and left us hanging...

Eisley was great. As usual, totally her genre. Everyone else? Mediocre. Great design overall but dull. The twist at the end? Amazing! But did you have to wait so long? I wasn't hooked until the last 10 minutes. If you do a sequel step your game up. And focus on eisleys character.

This movie is just the perfect amount of bad. It's slow. It's plodding. It's creepy. Perfect amount of gore. I love it! Bruce Davison makes everything better!
