The Curse of Sleeping Beauty (2016)

Thomas Kaiser inherits an ancestral mansion that has been in his family for generations — only to learn that he has also inherited an ancient curse stemming back to the Crusades. Better than I thought it was going to be. Spooky and suspenseful with only a few unnecessary scenes and cheesy dialog. The thing that drove me crazy was how young the sleeping beauty character looked... It was honestly creepy because there was a romantic interest between the main guy (appeared in his 30s) and this girl who at many times looked like she was 8 years old

Convoluted take on the Grimms' fairy tale that just didn't quite satisfy with it stretched story. Not enhanced by Peck's wooden acting or India being no more than a mannequin like the ones in the haunted house.

Nice costumes? Right away, felt like watching Grimm knock off with lesser lighting. Interesting premise but right away one knows "bad" is good and pretty girl is evil. Throw in a nod to Dr.Who's angels and yahtzee, creepy mannequins walking. At least they didn't drag it past evil unleashed and left us hanging...

The beginning and middle of the movie were amazing. Not too much horror and not too boring. Only the open end wos a bummer would rly love to see a part 2 or something with what happens now

Watch it on Netflix, not the typical princess movie (huge Disney fan here as well as someone that loves the grim tales!) this was a perfect chance of pace.
