This movie is terrible, with a well-done action at the opening this movie failed to deliver the puzzle.

The story feels fairly perfunctory — not to mention unnecessarily knotty — but the well-connected leads do their best to ground it. And while this one falls far short of the “Bourne” films that serve as an influence, the intense action scenes consistently deliver some solid genre jolts.

Gritty, gripping, twists and turns, terrific performances. This is an action movie with a brain. Forget Die Hard, go for this film. Ha Jung Woo, who was so good in The Yellow Sea is once again quite wonderful as is Ryoo Seung-bum also gives a bravura performance. The script is smart, direction tight. Berlin hasn't looked so dirty, dangerous and fraught with spies in quite some time.

Communism and the surveillance state continues among North Koreans, even in Berlin. It's worth watching for the hay field shootout alone. A worthy follow-up to No Blood, No Tears and The City of Violence. "this crisply directed spy thriller from Korea holds your attention through its overall smooth professionalism." ?
