Voodoo cult thrillerr. Somewhat interesting, but I'm not a big Martin Sheen fan, but he does make it creepier.

Surprisingly good thriller/horror that grabs you right away and the ride it takes is entertaining.Nice little hidden gem from yesteryear.

This was one of the classier horror movies of the 1980s. Not quite as chilling as I remember it being, but it has its moments.

É pena que John Schlesinger pegue no thriller macabro seguindo um dos seus piores exemplos - "Exorcist II - The Heretic" - e repetindo todo o chavascal desse. Isto porque havia uma boa história de crença colocada à prova para contar em "The Believers". Mas nunca este argumento em decomposição (literal) encontra o ângulo certo para nos convencer e "The Believers" cedo se entrega a um carnaval de bruxarias que já não assusta ninguém em 2014.

I was unable to get past that early electrocution scene in the family kitchen. Murderous coffeemakers are much more frightening than voudou priests, and I imagine a lot more common, too. Don't most accidental fatalities occur right in the home?
