Raunchy sex scenes.. but otherwise yes it tells the real life story. But ugh.

The movie shows us the wrong pespective, we should be hearing about Mary Jo Buttafuoco or at least get to sympathize with her. What the movie gets wrong is that it tries to create a victim out of the Long Island Lolita. Barrymore, though, saves the film with her excellent performance.
