I'm not sure where these ratings are coming from...big disappointment.

The plot is complex, unbelievable, and extremely drawn out. The main character is unattractive and the filming often dark.

The film, then, will be a different matter for area moviegoers than it will be for others. For us, it is unfailingly enjoyable -- good in almost every way.

105 minutes of my life I won't get back. Story is poorly told. Confusing and vague characters. Frivolous unneeded scenes. I was expecting a much better film with the actors they cast.

Found this film on Netfix and am glad I did. This is a well-told story that, to me, represents what filmaking is all about. Mystery, drama, pathos, humor all blend together with the surprisingly stunning visuals of Buffalo, NY/Niagra Falls location to create a real gem of an independent film. Do yourself a favor and see this movie.
