Great singing and dancing, among the greatest ever put on film. My favourites are Gene Kelly, Donald O'Conner, Debbie Reynolds, Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney and Fred Astaire.

Wonderful documentary celebrating the history of MGM musicals through it's classic numbers hosted by some of it's biggest stars. The narrators show the right mix of love & respect for Hollywood's Golden musical age, & even poke fun at themselves (Jimmy Stewart & Liz Taylor openly admit to their lack of musical talent, with the segments to prove it). The real star is the collection of brilliant musical pieces, from "The Wizard of Oz" to "Easter Holiday" to "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" & "Singing in the Rain", this is proof positive, as Frank Sinatra says, that no one made musicals better than MGM.

I watch this movie waaay too much. It is my favorites reel and I will just let it play and my mood lifts!

That's Entertainment won't enrich your mind, won't move you emotionally (except for maybe Kelly's classic rain sequence, but who hasn't seen that one already?) and unless you're already a fan of the musicals, probably won't entertain you much. And if you are a fan of those classics, you're better off getting them individually.
