Quirky but enjoyable. David Koechner always cracks me up and Luke Wilson is always good as a guy pained and struggling with something in a comedic way.

Slow. This movie did get to its point at the end, but it took too long to really keep the audience interested. There are some very interesting pieces to watch, but the spread between them is too far. Luke Wilson needs to get out of this stereotyped role. It's become a little too boring to have to keep seeing.

yewh... Where to tell this tenure application to get off could be quite a creative writing project in & of itself. Poor shlep, can't help that he's such a failure. This movie would do that to anybody. I think it does indeed have a plot outline. If it'd just stop being so moronically nonsensicle with how it all fits together.

It's a simple, lightly spicy and touching movie with some witty jokes and funny situations, and the presence of the "teacher-students" relation, everybody can be relate to.
