An absolutely beautiful film depicting one mans struggle to save himself and his family. Curtis predicts what seems to be the Tempest itself. Unfortunately due to his family history of mental illness nobody believes him. Truly and amazing performance by Michael Shannon in what possibly may be his best role yet!

Thrillingly suspenseful and tense in spite of it's subtlety. One of the best films I've seen in quite a while. Michael Shannon deserves a lot of recognition for this role. It's a stark study of rural America, mental illness and dread. Go into it with undivided attention. Can't recommend it enough.

This was probably the best movie (and the most underrated film) of 2011. Shannon's performance was spot was, and definitely desreved to be at least nominated for Best Actor.

What a great film. Much of it filmed around Elyria. If your from these parts you'll recognize a lot of the locations especially the Sparkle grocery store
