CAST: Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, Alan Arkin, Steve Zahn, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Jason Spevack, Clifton Collins Jr. SUMMARY: A woman who wants to send her eight year-old son to a private school decides to go into business with her unreliable sister in order to earn more money. They form a company doing biohazard removal and crime scene clean up. MY THOUGHTS: You wouldn't guess it by the title, but this movie is pretty heavy. It deals a lot with death (obviously if you have read what its initially about) and a bit depressing. But its not all about crime scenes. Its also about two women trying to make sense of their live and still grieving for a mother who left them at a very young age by her own hands. Suicide (if none have had a member in their family or a friend die this way) is a death that leaves behind more questions and uncertainties then any other kind of death. I think its the most difficult to understand and to cope with. This movie had a really great cast and a great script to work with. Not a feel good movie, but one you won't regret seeing. Highly recommend it.

This was amazing in my opinion. The performance from Amy Adams was very good but Emily Blunt was brilliant. This film is about a mother who works as a maid so that she can support her son. She wants to put her son in private school so her sister and her decide to start their own crime scene clean up business. The movie is better than my description I swear.

Apparently, I knew little more than the title and the main cast when I decided I wanted to watch this movie. I had no idea the glue holding everything together was about a "bio-hazard removal" cleaning business. It was a very simple story told beautifully. Easy to enjoy. My only pet peeve was the flightiness of the single mother (played by Amy Adams) in regards to awareness of her child. Know where your child is and what they are doing! I think this movie would touch a chord with anyone who has experienced death in their family, knows the pains of being an older or younger sibling, and those who struggle to get somewere "not here" in life.
