If you ask yourself one question: Does satan deserve to be sued? You will thoroughly enjoy the film. The devil deserves to be sued for jerks, cancer, war, customer service...etc. The greatest line in the movie is when Malcolm McDowell says, 'I invented customer service.' It's really a good film and deserves more attention.

I saw this film at the theater. It played at AMC Mesquite near Dallas. I am very surprised by all the drastic negativity this film's been getting. It has its flaws like any other, but no need to completely hate this. Suing has a story that is wonderfully portrayed by Mr. McDowell. The slight disappointment that carries on is the CGI. I always seem to fade away in Dramas such as this when Comedy is snuck into every so often. I was able to overlook this as the film went on. It comes at low some times and odd occurrences. Those areas just add up to a big bang which presents a greater meaning than just a cheap laugh. Most of all, as the story went on, I began to see how much it was like Forrest Gump.

Horrible acting, Malcolm McDowell was great as the Devil, but that does not justify watching this movie. Very painful.

As a film critic, I review faith-based movies all the time. This is one of the best and 'hand-seared' movies made in 2011. In an age of cookie-cutter movies, this stands out for it's stark originality and fresh viewpoint. I disagree that the film is preachy - what, having a pastor prove God exists in 30 seconds is preachy? This is a brilliant film that strips of all excess subplots and unnecessary dialogue. Bravo to Malcolm and the producers for making a brave and bold movie with heart.
