Street Kings (2008)

Tom Ludlow is a disillusioned L.A. Police Officer, rarely playing by the rules and haunted by the death of his wife. The writing is almost entirely nothing but one liners and there is a lot of vulgarity. If you can look past that, I enjoyed the dialogue on a almost satirical level.

Great film!! Much better than I expected. Keanu's character is pretty tough and ya just don't know which cops are the good guys or the bad. It was good seeing Naomi Harris portraying someone other than Tia Dalma. Love all the gorgeous sexy men!! Everyone played out their roles convincingly. It is quite violent for those who are interested.

Very predictable Cop film, from thw writing of James Ellroy who did "L.A. Confidential" and "The Black Dahlia." Set it the present day, detective Ludlow (Keanu Reeves) questions his work with his Unit after his former partner is killed infront of him. With a huge cast that consist of Forest Whitaker, John Corbett, Common, Hugh Laurie, Chris Evans, Jay Mohr, and Terry Crews this film is all out good.
