In 1950's Hollywood, movie star Guy Stone must marry a studio secretary in order to conceal his homosexuality. Sally has no idea her marriage is a sham, though, and turns Guy's life upside-down. However, soon after the wedding, Guy develops feelings for a writer named Rick.

Jacket's shrill, Necco-colored sets and distractingly awful CGI long shots almost mask the movie's real coup: Letscher's physique.

awww how adorable. while very very cheesy. definitly not an overly good movie but id watch it again for its few and far bewteen hilarious gay scenes.

Writer-director Richard Day, whose debut feature, the drag comedy Girls Will Be Girls, was shamefully neglected by critics and audiences alike, proves again that he's the new master of the catty one-liner, and he's also becoming a striking visual stylist.

Very fun, campy film with some great moments and lead actors that throw themselves into the film with gusto and a lot of self-deprecating humour. The timing wasn't always perfect and the hilarity was unfortunately not sustained throughout the whole movie. But overall an entertaining, well-meaning comedy with just a pinch of truth.
