Spider Baby (1967)

In a dilapidated rural mansion, the last generation of the degenerate, inbred Merrye family lives with the inherited curse of a disease that causes them to mentally regress from the age of 10 or so on as they physically develop. The family chauffeur looks out for them and covers up their indiscretions. Trouble comes when greedy distant relatives and their lawyer arrive to dispossess the family of its home.

This was way better than SKINWALKERS and CAPTIVITY combined. Though that may still be selling this zaney schlock-fest short of its full awesomeness.

Absolutely amazing - a disturbing, hilarious b-movie masterpiece. if you liked The Devil's Rejects, see this: it taught Rob Zombie everything that he knows.

Innovator of the crazy family genre of horror films. This is a really strange movie from exploitation director Jack Hill, who has made some great exploitation movies, Switchblade Sisters & Foxy Brown to name a few. This one is my favourite through. It seems over the top, but it actually is also a comedy. It isn't one of those exploitation films that is so bad that it's good. It's a really dark comedy. Anyone who loves surreal, odd movies should check this movie out. Also anyone who wants to see one of the last films that Lon Chaney Jr. was in or also, an early role from Sid Haig.
