South Central (1992)

During a 10-year sentence for murdering the leader of a rival South Central Los Angeles gang, Bobby Johnson finds religion and rehabilitation with the help of Muslim inmate Ali. Upon his release, Bobby returns home to find that his young son, Jimmie, has joined the Deuces, his old crew. Tensions rise as Bobby struggles to convince Jimmie to leave the gang that was his only family during the painful years his absent father spent behind bars.

wow what a movie...i have just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch...its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie..i think that byron minns, carl lumbly, christian coleman, glenn plummer play good parts throughout this movie..its a really good movie 2 watch...i think that the director of this Drama, Mystery & Suspense movie had done a really good job of directing this movie its got a great cast throughout this movie...its a really good movie 2 watch n its a good movie

This movie, like Boyz N the Hood, is uncompromising in its view of how things work in a neighborhood like South Central. It was made before the Los Angeles riots in April, 1992, but it provides a stark picture of the anger that was waiting to boil over.
