Son of God (2014)

In the Holy Land, the Roman occupation has produced a cauldron of oppression, anxiety and excessive taxes levied upon the Jewish people. Fearing the wrath of Roman governor Pontius Pilate , Jewish high priest Caiaphas tries to keep control of his people. That control is threatened when Jesus arrives in Jerusalem, performing miracles and spreading messages of love and hope. Those who fear that Jesus will inspire a revolution decide that he must die.

Why must the "critics" be so wrong most of the time? My wife and I loved this film.

Beautifully done, and is my favorite movie yet for the biblical and true story of Jesus.

These critics rating this a 25% are completely ridiculous. seeing how a liberal propaganda so called "The Lego Movie" earned a 96. A movie that was made by a bunch of children's toys? Son Of God portrays a REAL HISTORICAL EVENT. Showing how jesus changed people's lives, making disciples and trying to change how corrupt the sinners ruined god's plan of humans. I find it empowering and above all a true phenomenon. It shows how powerful god's power is. And so you atheist critics could shut your mouths, you shouldn't of even seen the movie if you are not a christian.

amazing the movie was amazing. Isnt it interesting that you have great movies that critics give very low scores, while us people give it high scores . Who are they reviewing for?? maybe the critics think they are smarter more educated when they use big negative statements, phrases, and words . I have learned if the critics score it low, then I am most definitely going to see that movie. as 8 times out of 10 I will love the movie theu hate.

Such an incredible movie about the life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This movie will introduce you to God and lead you into the extravagant love God has for every person. It is great for Hollywood to put the life, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ on display.
