These movies are all about the monster fights, but Patrick Wayne just sucks ass as Sinbad. In this one he teams up with Doctor Who, and get's attacked by a giant bee. I pretty much tuned out after that, maybe 3 Sinbad movies in one day is just too much.

This is the kind of movie you watch on a lazy day with nothing else to do. At it's heart, it's a mildly entertaining adventure with some classic Harryhausen stop-motion animation. Overall, it's really pretty bad, from a poorly thought-out story to a lead actor would couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.

This is Harryhausen's second to last movie, and was his third and last Sinbad picture. Patrick Wayne, son of John, is wooden, and the main villainess is so over-the-top that it's, at times comical. However, this does feature some of his best work in Trog, a trogloydite (think missing link meets caveman) who is so emotive and expressive and interacts beautifully with the human actors. The fight near the end with a sabertooth tiger is well done as well.
