Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977)

Princess Farah refuses to marry Sinbad until Prince Kassim, her brother, is able to give his consent. However, the Prince's wicked stepmother, Queen Zenobia, has changed Kassim into a baboon in order to have her own son crowned as caliph. Sinbad, his crew, the Princess and the transformed Prince travel to a distant land, fighting every obstacle Zenobia places in their path, to seek the advice of a legendary wise man who can possibly tell how to end the spell.

What a piece of shit, I don't care if he's the son of John Wayne, Patrick Wayne sucks. I still love the Harryhausen stuff but everything else is just so melodramatic and cheesy.

El ciclo de las aventuras de Sinbad fue una uena idea comercial explotada por eltandem Schneer-Harryhausen y creo que lo lograron para una generacion aun no saturada por apabullantes y sofisticados efectos visuales. Lo disfrutamos mucho y se lo agradecemos visionando aun esas pelis memorables.

A Classic late 1970's acting-adventure movie. They just don't make them like they used to. This is a film gem from the time and worth watching, as it will provide visually stimulating fashion statements, high adventure (its better when you're high) cheesey effects by today's standards, but entertaining nonetheless, overly dramatic acting and above all, a a good laugh at least every several minutes or so. What can I say, I love this movie.I mean, could Patrick Wayne's father have pulled this off? Nooooo. IN fact hell no. But Patrick Wayne did, for which I commend him. This one isn't as good as Golden Voyage, but still is a fun watch.

This installment seems to have the least amount of action and stop motion effects. Patrick Wayne also seems to be trying to channel Charlton Heston. Its an average fantasy film, but a shame no one got to fight the Minoton. In my opinion it was one of the cooler creatures from any of the Sinbad films.
