Awesome old school fantasy movie. The dragon stands up even in this age of CG everything. Also filmed in natural light, which has an awesome effect on the look of the movie.

Dark, violent and, above all, politically subversive movie made by a "oh, how fortunate" mistake by Disney. Kill the Princess! Burn to ash and bone! The (Hobbes) Leviathan ate them all! Christ gave power to the people, comrade!

One of the most overlooked fantasy movies. Ahead of its time and nominated for 7 Academy Awards in 1982. Ralph Richardson was amazing and best wizard since Ian McKellen as Gandalf. The dragon is great. Sure it's effects are a little dated, but if you want to see a good fantasy story on the screen, you need not go to a local theater, just pop into your local video store and check it out.

This movie is so old, and not so good.. but for the times, and including the audience being little kids, it's alright :)
