It is, I think, the best film about faith I've ever seen.

Whether you're religious or not, this film gets you emotionally and psychologically. The immense passion displayed by people in the film for Christianity is heartbreaking. Great performances from the whole cast, but Garfield is certainly the top tier.

An absolute masterpiece! A very intense and challenging story about Christianity and Faith in the 1600's in Japan when all this was outlawed and only Buddhism was accepted. The cinematography is compelling, beautiful and perfect in every way. A must see!!

If you are interested in religion, this is a must see. In the world we are currently living in (the black cloud that is d-trump), we are all forgetting that we have choice, and live in a time where we can believe in/support whatever we want to support or believe in. It might drag on if you do not take the movie in as a whole, but as someone who probably took one to many philosophy classes in college I highly recommend it to anyone. Humbling. Talk about Andrew Garfield bouncing back with this/ Hacksaw Ridge, great actor.
