Shadow Puppets (2007)

Director Michael Winnick's chilling tale stars James Marsters as Jack, one of eight captives who awaken in an abandoned asylum not knowing who they are or why they are together. They discover that they've been used in an experiment to erase disturbing memories, but instead, a murderous creature has been unleashed. Reaching out from the shadows, the monster hunts the eight strangers as they race to escape the asylum.

I get tired of the Hollywood big budget films and like to endulge myself into low budget Direct To Video Horror flicks that are fun to watch, with bad acting and you don't to worry about big name actors, all your doing is having fun. Eight people awake in anbandoned asylum with no recollection of how they got here or who they are. As they are looking for ways to escape they are being stalked by a shadow creature. 3/5

There was a great twist at the end, but that was about it. The plot was weak, the acting was weak and so was the dialogue. I gave it 4 stars mostly because James Marsters(Buffy the Vampire Slayer) was in the movie.

Actually quite a good low budjet horror with buffys james marsters and horror legend tony todd, the film is alot like the cube with a monster shadow ala lost, it may be slightly unoriginal but the atmosphere is good and the scares and performances are pretty good too.
