almost a typical meg ryan film, but not all lovey dovey..interesting little twist at the end, did she or didn't she..worth seeing though

Not one of Meg Ryan's best. I like the surprise ending which keeps the audience wondering, very Hitchcock. What I didn't like is the desperate measures Louise (Meg) went to win back the love of her husband. She's suppose to a successful lawyer and a normal reaction from any woman/wife after finding out she's been cheated on by an undeserving husband is to kick him out & sue him.

Let me state that I do not agree with the principle of this movie for several reasons. There are some crazy spouses who may actually think that kidnapping the mate might actually save the relationship, thats a no no! Also I think that the movie was fairly obvious with the confirmation coming at the very end! It had a good romantic feel to it and the sript was well writen for a drama, with bits of fun thrown in.

I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. I thought it was a pretty good. It was funny and different. I enjoyed it.

This had the makings of such a great out-of-the-box movie right until the moment when the writers decided to donate their brains to a better cause somewhere half-way through the movie, where it changed to a sappy and cliched romantic comedy:/ I am somewhat disappointed but I guess my expectations were simply too high...but they were raised by the first part of the movie, which was really hilarious and unexpectedly logical in the absurdity of Meg Ryan duck-taping her husband to the toilet;) As for Meg Ryan, she was one of the best points of this movie. She conveyed just the right combination of tough, tender, a little desperate and slightly more than little crazy;)
