It's a pleasure to watch Ryan resurrect her trademark persona, a mix of perkiness and pique, as she flounces around the room. But it's shaded with a middle-age desperation that's half real and half chick-flick shtick.

Not one of Meg Ryan's best. I like the surprise ending which keeps the audience wondering, very Hitchcock. What I didn't like is the desperate measures Louise (Meg) went to win back the love of her husband. She's suppose to a successful lawyer and a normal reaction from any woman/wife after finding out she's been cheated on by an undeserving husband is to kick him out & sue him.

Even though I saw the ending early this was a interesting watch. Meg Ryan played down her usual quirky role, which made for a new and better experience for the watcher. I didn't feel any connection between her and Tim Hutton though. However in light of the plot that fitted. Justin Long played a good villain, different to his usual comedian roles.

One of the best marriage comedies. It's funny, sad, clever and an honest look at marriage. When marriage has flaws,so why can't this movie? Meg is magnificent! ??
