A buffoonish but bitter social satire that runs to classical depths, Seduced and Abandoned takes no prisoners for society's misogynistic crimes in the name of familial honor.

Film praticamente antropologico. Mia moglie, che e' francese, non riusciva a credere ai suoi occhi: "ma in Italia succede veramente cosi'???" + un'attrice che e' una grandissima GNOCCA.

An enjoyable comedy about the double standards that were prevalent in Sicily. In theory the material is dark, but the film highlights the absurdness of the situations the characters are in, and this makes it very funny. I thought it was even funnier than 'Divorce Italian Style'.

Just saw this on a reccomendation from a Flixster friend and it is easily shot into my top films. It sizes up the universe in the most clarifying way imaginable. There are bad people and there are good people. Everyone is in the middle but some more to the right and others more to the left. The world revolves around this dichotomy and will continue to do so.
