People seem to be under the impression this is a rom-com. It's not. It's an issue-led drama. It's also damn good.

The script is the strong point of the film, specifically its portrayal of overprotective suburban mothers. While there is rightly concern about child molesters, especially the circumstances surrounding Paige?s character in this film, the lengths they go to harass and impugn him are criminal. It?s raises many issues that need to be addressed with current sex offender laws and general perception of pedophiles, specifically the gay angle. The main crusader put it best: ?But he fit the profile!?

Peter Paige does a pretty good job as a director, writer and actor. A bit melodramatic but funny sometimes

meh. take it or leave it. it probably would've been more convincing if the lead character wasn't actually so creepy toward these kids. it could have really been a powerful film with a powerful statement to make, but instead i was left with no empathy whatsoever for his situation.
