Quite a fine plot, i must say. Endearing... What is wrong with letting gay men take care of kids? I'd seen too many straight individuals who can't take care of their kids, so why not let those who love kids have kids? Anyway, love the whole movie, from beginning to end!

"Comme les autres" a fait parler de lui parce qu'il est le premier film francais a faire de l'homoparentalite son sujet principal. Dommage, c'est rate. Tres mal ecrit, le film enchaine des situations d'une lourdeur infinie, aborde la problematique sur un mode completement superficiel (avec des mots de talk-show bas de gamme), et ne developpe jamais ses personnages au-dela de vignettes caricaturales. Resultat: le film n'est ni emouvant, ni meme drole (a l'exception notable d'Anne Brochet, qui aurait toutefois encore gagnee a etre mieux dirigee). Le pire est que le message du film est completement brouille par son traitement superficiel (le desir d'enfant du personnage de Wilson semble dysfonctionnel et son projet est particulierement flou) et une etonnante mysoginie qui deborde de partout (la femme etant reduite a un statut d'uterus sur patte et le personnage principal n'hesitant pas a exploiter une etrangere sans papiers pour en faire une mere porteuse). Le prochain film francais sur le theme aura du mal a faire pire.
