Writer/director Dave Schultz stretches out this somewhat languorous - not to say somnambulant - material to almost two hours by adding a villain.

Rufus is well made as far as it goes, but it's hard to enjoy a story when you keep wondering when the Volturi are going to show up.

Great film would of loved to see it on big screen, not just on TV Great twist on vampire films of the past.

I don't know what sort of movie Rufus was intended to be when it was shot, but I can't imagine it was anything like what's being dumped into theatres this week.
