Shame that Academy doesn't have kids category. Room is Jacob Tremblay's game and he played it well with his acting skills. Lenny Abrahamson mastered the indie-film craft.

Room delivers in every way possible. This film adaptation of the novel by Emma Donoghue excels to maintain the meaning and theme of the novel despite the limitation for film adaptations in general. Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay blew me away with their super powerful performances. I was hooked throughout the entire thing and left wanting more. Everything from the directing to Screenplay to acting to cinematography was done with perfection. Not many films can make you think and fluctuate in emotion like the way Room does. In the end, I was inspired and reborn, and that's how you should feel when you experience a film like this.

Watching 10 Cloverfield Lane and Room in close proximity it's interesting to observe how directors and actors tackle drama within a restricted space and cast. Both films highlight just how much the success of a good film balances on the performances of the leads. Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay are absolutely faultless here and make for a gripping and compelling watch.

I just saw this movie. I can't believe Jacob Tremblay WASN'T nominated for Best Supporting Actoring!! He was PHENOMENAL AND INCREDIBLE!!!
