Rockstar is truely a movie made fr Rockstars,u can be entirely smitten by it or be upfront nd scale it is as a total crap....But fr me with this movie i have reckoned myself under Ranbir Kapoor fans....This by far nd large along with Don 2 were my most awaited movies for this year nd seriously the wait finally paid off.... Evn if we leave Ranbir Kapoor to his par excellence act,Nargis Fakiri so kald neat & clean+Kinky act .Mohit Chauhan @ His vocal best,one can watch this movie for its sheer intensity.... Hats off to Imtiaz Ali to create a master piece to perfection....The end was a lil spoilsport however that can be ward off after u see the word Brilliance cmn out frm each nd evry corner....

First of all, I am a sucker for tragic, intense, unfulfilled love and then to have great songs on top of that is a treat. Rockstar has it all. Imtiaz Ali is getting better and better at making cinema. His song picturisation, a real talent and a special craft in the world of Hind cinema, is just fabulous. Ranbir has an author backed role and does a very good job. Nargis Fakhri is a bit irritating and too pouty but quite pretty in that unattainable sort of way, which is what the script demanded I suppose. Most of all though the script is the king and the way the story went back and forth made it more interesting than a linear narrative would have. I would recommend this film. It is different from the run of the mill Hindi cinema yet fits very well within the parameters of the mainstream. Just a tad bit long.

Liked the movie. A good story which is well portrayed. The director uses flashback multiple times which can be confusing if you aren't concentrating ,otherwise works very well. The soundtrack is pretty good. Good performances by the actors too. Overall entertaining and a very good watch

Director Ali brings his best. Breathtaking performance by Ranbir Kapoor.... A beautiful debut by Nargis with few flaws which are simply acceptable... A wonderful presentation.. The only critique will be reguarding length of movie.... Otherwise... its a masterpiece.... The Ending is brilliant.... In short, RockStar Rocks!!!
