Rockstar has elements of comedy built into it but it lacks a strong story line. It's a one-time wonder watch but definitely entertaining. It feels like one long movie so keep that in mind if you're in mood for a fast watch. This may not be your movie if that's the case.

A R Rahman makes you love songs on the screen all over again even though Imtiyaaz Ali misses in the second half. Good performance by Ranbir Kapoor. Could have been better. Watch It for A R Rahamn and Mohit Chauhan Combo !!! Especially The Intensity of the Song .. 'Aur Ho....' Not being a critic. In fact I liked the movie. But It could have been better in the second half. I think director tried to compensate the lack of story with too many songs. You don't even realize that you have reached the climax and the movie is over. But its worth a watch just for its Songs and Intensity of Ranbir Kapoor in those songs.

Just when you think the movie gathers the pace to take it beyond the initial messy miserable uneven start, it plummets to the ground. Good performance from Ranbir but the rest is awful.
