Rock-A-Doodle (1991)

Chanticleer is a foolhardy farm rooster who believes his crows can actually make the sun come up and shine. When the sun rises one morning without Chanticleer's crow, he leaves the farm in disgrace and runs off to become a rock 'n' roll singer. But in his absence, a sinister, sunshine-hating owl prepares to take over.

Don Bluth might touch pen to paper and bring the sun up. I see no one saw past the stylizations of these particular character creations. I do not remember this being a problem of interest for this film Now, it is hard to put animated features into perspective without some background on the people who bring them to life. Especially if audiences only remember them as passing fads or flicks, when in reality, there may be great and unique work to discover. I am not saying this is on par with The Rescuers, but like any artist, each and all have their own style and that style changes under different circumstances. I believe that is the case here.

Oh my I just love this movie. To this day I still randomly start singing songs from it. Go Chanticleer!!
