Robot Monster (1953)

Ro-Man, an alien robot who greatly resembles a gorilla in a diving helmet, is sent to earth to destroy all human life. Ro-Man falls in love with one of the last six remaining humans, and struggles to understand how his programming can instruct him to kill her while his heart demands that he can't.

Wonderfully cheesy old sci-fi. It's a guy in a gorilla suit with a diving helmet! Ro-Man is unstoppable. How could you not love this movie?

Wow. Let's see: stock footage, an ape in a deep-sea diving helmet, bubbles, killer hugs, srangulation, and 3-D. This movie is a classic. As in the the sub basement of film. It shares the same room with plan 9 . Just watch.
