In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years, but have been forbidden for law enforcement in America. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy – a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit – is critically injured, OmniCorp sees their chance to build a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine.

The movies CGI was simply amazing and the plot as well as the execution of it was breath-taking! Would highly recommend it.

Очень долго ждал. Честно. Первая часть самая любимая. Очень переживал за главного героя. Обычный работяга-полицейский, хороший полицейский, морально устойчивый, принципиальный. Если бы, все защитники правопорядка были такими, но нет...В мире где богачи правят балом, такие как он живут недолго. Переживания за главного героя, его жизнь, его человечность - всего этого нет в этом фильме. Но технологическая составляющая, сюжет, персонажи довольно таки хороши (Майклу Китону отдельная благодарность). 10 баллов за всё это.

Thought it was a very well made remake, adding it's own take to the story and becoming quite a charming movie on its own. Making nods to the original perfectly. There were many parallels towards the original, and showing you new and horrible views on what it really would be like to put someone in a suit like that. Literally stripping him of his humanity at some points. Great stuff. Go in with a positive mind and partially wipe yourself of the older movies. Take your own ride along with the movie.
