The most glorious black comedy you'll ever see. The best thing about it is that all the humour is (presumably) unintentional. Joseph Olita as Amin is quite possibly the funniest man who ever appeared on the silver screen.

Saw this when i was quite young & it scared me senseless. A chilling & gripping tale based on the real life of former President of Uganda, Idi Amin. His brutal reign, erratic behaviour & murderous nature. The movie provides an insight into the life of a monster in human clothing. Idi Amin has been dubbed the" Hitler of Africa", a title which he duely deserves, for he not only acted in "Hitler-type" fashion(i.e. persecuting Jews & even his own country men), but also idolized Hitler & continuosly sang his praises.

Not sure how historically accurate this film is, but a hoot to watch!!! Over the top and never lets up for a minute.

Graphic and in your face. You can see that the dictator Idi Amin was no joke. This movie was better than the Last King of Scotland to me. The actors are mostly unknowns and that always seems to make the movie better.
