It was cute. Worth seeing once just to watch Dolly Parton interact with Stallone. I don't know if you need to finish it though.

I loved this movie! Stallone is so out of character and does an amazing job as he has the funniest moments esp singing old macdonald! This movie is hilarious and a fun one to watch.I love all Sly's movies and this is him at his funniest.

I watched this expecting to hate it, but was pleasantly surprised. It was cute, and plopped and zipped its way through its two hour run time. It doesn't take itself too seriously - no one thought it was the new My Fair Lady or anything. Dolly Parton is the same in every movie I've ever seen her in: a sweet but tough down home country "broad", and it's just fun to watch. Plus, she wrote the music for this one, and whatever you may think about country music, Dolly is a great singer and a great writer. All in all, a fun watch.

Dolly does a wonderful job and Sly's preformance was up and down. but the movie grew on me.
