The band essentially found their voice by playing music - pop music, country music - wrong.

"You can't stick to a manifesto," says founding member Jon Langford. "But there's definitely a thread." Passion, good humour and love are wrapped up in there.

Ray Pride 15 Apr 2015

Lean, cheery 95-minute portrait of almost four decades in the lives and careers since the 1977 formation of the vital, genially haunted punk-to-rock band that Lester Bangs called "the most revolutionary group in the history of rock 'n' roll."

Jennie Kermode 23 Feb 2015

A reminder that punk has, throughout its history, been as much a creative force as a destructive one.

Edward Douglas 30 Oct 2014

Definitely a movie to see for true fans of British music, as it shows another layer of the punk and post-punk music scene that should be appreciated.
