It's nothing new, but it is effective, streamlined and excellently constructed. There are some beautiful spaghetti western moments and a strong soundtrack supports this tone beat for beat. There's nothing wrong with Red Hill, a satisfying and complete revenge thriller of quiet quality.

From the opening credits to the final scene, this film is a pure winner, exciting and amazing to look at.. Ryan Kwanten shows he is much more than the Brother of the Fairy who is dating a Vampire.

This is a great film! I loved it and it didn't have some vague, inexplicable ending passed off as 'arthouse' like most Aussie films. Great action, great story, great cast. This is basically an old school Western with revenge theme - good fun.

Australo-Western und Ã 1/4berzeugendes Debut mit magischen und ein paar seltsamen Momenten. Langsam und reduziert, was in diesem Film aber eine Tugend ist. Wer das Outback liebt sollte sich die Blu-Ray ansehen. Tolle Bilder.

A fine example of how to make a more-than-just-acceptable thriller in a culture over-saturated by content. Patrick Hughes is a fine artist with a bright future.
