Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Belushi, Laurence Fishburne, Peter Boyle, Sven-Ole Thorsen, and Gina Gershon as well as some of my favourite character actors: Brion James, Mike Hagerty, and Ed O'Ross appear in the film about a Soviet narcotics officer tracking an international drug dealer to Chicago. Once in the Windy City, the commie narc discovers the pill pusher is in cahoots with some Black Liberation Theologians who look to commence the race war through drug addiction. Belushi says some funny stuff, Arnie stays rigid and they bring the bad guy down 80's buddy-cop film style.

Underrated Arnie movie. It's got plenty of action and Arnold is just about as likable as ever. However, Belushi doesn't bring much to the movie.

The best cop film ever made and stars everybody's favourite action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger. He gives a sensation performance as usual, as a Russian cop who goes to America to catch a dangerous drug dealer. Along the way he makes friends, such as dead beat Chicago cop James Belushi and co. The action is stunning, full of shots outs and high speed chases. The music is atmospheric and the whole scenery captures the mood. It is also worth it just to see Arne speak Russian. This is basically a really brilliant buddy movie and also one of my favourite action films.
