Best original superhero thing I've seen in a long time. It moves along without talking down to its audience, and rewards those who can keep up with it.

As fantastical as all that sounds, the pleasure of Push comes from its glamorized grit, its no-nonsense pacing and the committed performances of the actors roughhousing in the gray area between heroism and villainy. It's pure popcorn, popped fresh, doused in butter and sprinkled with soy sauce.

Ignore the critics on this one - it's entertaining, and the acting is good. The plot has a few twists, and it kept me involved throughout the movie. i liked it enough to hope for a sequel.

A weightless, style-driven thriller set in a photogenically chaotic Hong Kong.

Whilst the plot was clichéd and convoluted, I was very pleased to find that none of the chacracters fell into the typical stereotypes. Throughout the film I was expecting many of them to turn out to be traitors working for Division but it seems that Hollywood has finally grown out of that tired plot device. The film was stylish and well put together, with some nice ideas. As I said the plot suffers from some holes, but the likeable characters make up for this as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to see the cast return for another outing to finish off the story.
