In “Corpus Christi,” Bielenia was electric, but then he had Mateusz Pacewicz’s great script to work with. Here, he retains some charisma in a hard-working performance, but it’s not enough to singlehandedly provide this screenplay with meaning.

I do not see so much problem with the fact that what this Polish film proposes doesn't go far enough. By placing everything in an environment as contained as the one in which this story takes place, it was to be expected. So what was really needed was a suspenseful script that was up to the task. Also credible actors and, above all, a competent director. However, it's his own lack of skill and imagination that makes this little thriller so forgettable.

Niby coś się dzieje a jednak nie, niby z sensem a jednak nie, niby bohaterowie są a jednak ich nie ma. Szkoda tego wszystkiego.
