Intersting story about politics and media in the american political system

Lumet is trying hard to do to the world of political campaign organizers what his "Network" did to television news. It exudes the same authenticity and research but lacks the coalescence provided by a stellar plot.

As a movie for the general public, this is probalby more like a 2-star. I have to give it 3 because I appreciate the sheer amount of conviction that the script appears to have on it's subject. Very researched, very realistic, and though boring in parts to most, for media/P.R. people this must ring fairly true. The moral of the story seems to come very late and is overshadowed by the rest of the story. It seems to be dedicated to it's subject and there's some good actors/acting in this one.
