Gregory Peck leads an impressive cast including Three's Company's Mr. Roper (Normal Fell), Martin Landau, George Peppard and Harry Dean Stanton. I really enjoyed this gritty, realistic drama featuring one army company's efforts to take and hold a highly-contested hill in the Korean War. Peck is terrific as are most of the actors and the movie really makes you think about the necessity and tragedy of war. The film ultimately lets you draw your own conclusions about whether the lives lost in this battle were justifiable or not.

The most realistic war movie made that shows all of the emotions that a soldier has and what they deal with in war. A superb movie and a must see. And the best of the few movies that have been made on the Korean War.
