To answer the titular Pokémon's catchphrase in form of a question: Yes, I am surprise on how actually entertaining - and fun in a way of the frequent warmth - the film is despite the predictable outcome after the typical formula with recycled plot points while struggling to grasp its created potential. Towards that latter point despite how unbalanced the reach was somewhat, the action sequences were just eye-popping on the level of the very well-animated energy, as it seems to be the film's main benefit than the past installments. (Speaking of which, it does feel like it captured the tone of the Original batch of the films - including how it was performed in terms of dubbing). The 18th Pokémon installment is a better film since the 14th for the converts, while the enjoyment level for those who aren't may find something to enjoy when watching it. Confusing plot, annoying voices; for diehard fans only.

Hoopas incessant, childish, giggle is painful to sit through.

Don't forget to subscribe to Animation Trainer on YouTube. Hands down most overrated Pokemon film ever. This movie although has really good animation, has a pretty complicated plot. The first half is just rushed with things explained way too late and uninteresting characters who just sit there doing absolutely nothing. However the plot does get exciting and Ash isn't a generic hero like in the Giratina movie. I give this movie a 6/10.

The legendary Pokemon battle at the end was pretty cool.
