Pin, a plastic medical dummy, has been the fixation of Leon since youth. Now grown up and orphaned in an accident, Leon brings Pin home to live with him and his sister Ursula, much to her reluctance. Actually pretty effective, for a budget horror film. Haven't seen it for about 15 years, and certain scenes still stick in my mind.

You really want to laugh when you are watching Pin because it so utterly ridiculous. But as ridiculous as it is, it is equally conceivable that something like this could happen. It builds itself up quite nicely, and by the end, in it's own special 1980's kinda way, it has turned into a harrowing and emotional tragedy. It's really quite impressive.

Terrific performances made this a very creepy experience. There isn't tons of blood and nudity, so it doesn't fit the 80's horror movie mold very well, but the story is interesting and Pin is such an unsettling character that I couldn't turn away.
