Not a bad movie by any means, but very forgettable. Good if you're in the mood to waste a little time.

There is a very cute girl I met recently on Tinder who I took to see this film. We both enjoyed ourselves and I think it really is one of the better found footage films of recent years. I would see it again with friends if the chances arises :)

Hopefully Phoenix Forgotten garners some more attention and talk than it seems to be getting so far, as it turned out to be quite the tense and captivating movie. It doesn't do anything new or shocking, but it has believable acting, a good mystery, and a seriously effective final act with glorious visuals that left me holding my breath and gripping my seat. I recommend going to see this if you enjoy found footage or alien conspiracy movies.
