Nice to see a movie shot in NZ that's as far from LoTR's as you can get. Story's a little too familiar to be a great film though.

Will always be my favourite film. Beautifully crafted, wonderful world. I wish there was a sequel so badly.

i'm not even sure why I gave this movie 3 stars. I'm still not sure if I liked it. The ideas were all there and the plot and everything but I just don't think it followed through. It was a good attempt though....I think. Why does it say coming to theatres? I rented it on dvd... The whole thing has me confused lol And where was Jonathan Rhys-Meyers? I'm going to watch this again. I think I missed something important along the way. Every1 who's seen this is saying it's good. In my defense, It was late and I have the flu lol

Moody steampunk era London exists in a long standing truce between a religious order of vampires and the humans. Until one of the vampires goes rogue. Quite a decent little movie with lots of NZ and Aussie actors. Dougray Scott is perhaps a little too emotionless (or is that wooden) for my liking though.
