Parzania is a rare film. Inspired by a true story, Parzania is loaded with powerhouse performances by veterans and an extremely well executed direction by Rahul Dholakia who surprises with a gripping narrative. Parzania has won National Film Awards for Best Director and Best Actress in 2006. This one is not to be missed!

Directed by Rahul Dholakia and inspired from a true story, Parzania is the touching tale of a Parsi family?s struggle to find their son who was lost during the mayhem of the 2002 Gujarat riots. The horrors committed upon Muslims during the riots are depicted with realism. So much so that your jaw will drop and you?ll be glued to your seat only sometimes squirming in discomfort at some of the atrocities you?ll witness. You?ll shed a tear for the valiant attempts of the family to find their son while also battling a corrupt government and an incompetent police force. And then you?ll hope. You?ll hope that the real life family finds their son some day. Parzania will move you like no other film. You cannot afford to miss it.

great story.. brilliant act and stupendous dialogues.. the genocide happened in Godhra was utterly unacceptable but I still don't understand why most of the killers still think what they did was for the good of religion.. totally mad! a sensational, disturbing and heart breaking movie.
