Parallels is a clever alternate world pilot.

Good idea for a good movie but where is my ending?

A great concept undone by it being "too similar to Sliders". So what if its "Sliders: The Next Generation"? That approach more than worked for Star Trek! And Battlestar Galactica. And Star Wars (sort of), along with many other great series. And with the high-quality writing available these days, this could've easily turned into another Dr. Who or Quantum Leap. With a background mythology seemingly already built in, a la Lost, this show really could've created a whole other...universe (sorry). Admittedly, some of the characters are initially a little cliched, and some of the plot points were a bit weak and/or obvious, but that would improve in time; they always do, and this one already showed that potential. For a pilot episode turned movie, this is already a much better written & produced show than many currently available; I could have been a great series. (And still can be: someone call Netflix! Or even SyFy -- I mean, they've made FIVE "Sharknado" movies...!)

Not actually a movie, but more a pilot of a series - it have a great, althought not original idea about traveling in different universes of the same setting (Earth) centered in a building. The actings are ok, with enough empaty for the characters exploring the universes. Effects and settings are ok, if you considere that the movie was made in a a studio for online productions and presented only in Netflix. If you like series like Sliders, Stargate and The Door, this it for you. I confess that I am very curious about the sequence to the movie. 7,4 / 10,0
