I appreciated this inside look at the NYT take on current media issues. It was a bit scattered - but I still found it very well done, compelling, and interesting. I would like a full 2-hour doc on David Carr alone! Great movie!

Just got back from seeing Page One. Excellent, excellent documentary. It's really much more than about whether The New York Times will survive this Media Armageddon. It also offers you a unique look at the give and take involved in putting a story together. I just wished it had been a good half hour longer. And, granted, seeing this while reading James O'Shea's "The Deal from Hell" provides any person interested in the media a good understanding about where the industry went wrong. Oh, yes, and David Carr...he's a badass.

Documentary that takes an inside look at the characters who work at the New York Times, how new media is affecting them and their process of creating a page one story. More entertaining (and funny) than most other things at the multiplex right now.

An engaging look at the role that the New York Times plays as arguably the best American newspaper and its struggle to remain relevant in a world of rapidly evolving forms of media and changing sources of news. It was fascinating and relevant to the world of information. How we access it and how we vet our resources. Great documentary.
