this is the positive outcome of a director being given his way without question, what we have here is a well acted, well written, beautifully shot and masterfully paced dream, with hidden metaphors, fun dialogue and a big sign on the top that says "ART HOUSE"

Great film! Very underrated in my opinion. Don't let the ratings fool you! This is a very stylish film and if you like strange sort of revenge thrillers you should love this. I think it gets bad reviews as people go in expecting something like drive or something like Ryan Gosling normally does. What you get with this is a very stylish strange and intriguing film. If it was directed by Tarantino I would say that the review would read very differently!

over the top pretentious tripe. stop trying to make drive 2. Refn takes the adage "5edgy10me" to new heights. I don't think god will forgive him. 10/10.

A slow and deliberate film letting you feel the deep emotion of each of the characters. Thought provoking and a deeply sad movie where life is more about functionality and survival than the joy of living.
