The polar landscapes and fluctuating weather are superbly shot, while there are compelling turns from the two actors, who bravely perform their own stunts.

beautifully captured. got really irritated by the protaganist. he really messed things up for everyone. i really felt sad for the nice giant. kinda like a coming of age story except the kid is grown up and thats why its a little infuriating to watch him. I guess the director succeeded in getting the me involved.

I've never seen a movie before where nothing happens. The acting was great, the cinematography was great, the scenery was beautiful, but there was no story. This was almost a documentary.
