this is great man, why does every other country know how to mix sharp social commentary with ready to serve commercial filmmaking and yet make it seem humane and artistic?

Extremely well done, with great insight into the plight of women in Iranian society. Each character is unique, and the dynamic between the guards and the women is very entertaining. The bathroom scene was my favourite!

hilarious look into the absurdity that is sexism.

The 4 stars are because of the backstory, and how it was made rather than the actual outcome. The outcome is worth about 3 stars because it was a little dull, and maybe not the best of films. Yes, it had potential but maybe didn't achieve it so well.

Really interesting. You get a glimpse of a culture completely different for our own...however I think some of the "comedy" you had to be Iranian to appreciate.
