Nuns on the Run (1990)

Set up by their boss to be knocked off following a final heist, soon-to-retire crooks Brian Hope and Charlie McManus get wind of their impending demise and run off with the spoils of their crime. Fleeing their boss, the drug dealers they robbed, the police, and Brian's angry girlfriend, the duo take refuge in a training convent for nuns. In disguise, they convince Sister Superior that they're nuns, a charade they're forced to maintain as their enemies arrive.

Idle and Coltraine :) It's so silly - but I like it anyway. My mind says NO but my heart says YEP!

Pretty good British comedy of two banker robbing gangsters who one day decide to rob their counterparts and go straight, only to find themselves hiding out in a convent disguised as nuns. Some really good laughs here and there, although there is a lot of plain empty space here as well. Idle and Coltrane make an great duo here.

Another classic british movie. Humour all the way british style that comes in the form of two fugitives on the run with stolen cash in the form of nuns (you wonder where the producers of Sister Act got their idea from). Great plot and story with hilarious consequences!

I'm not much into British comedy, but this was hilarious! I loved it! "We're not women. We're nuns."
