Is it a good movie? Not necessarily, but it's not as poorly done like some of Corman's other work. The characters hold up on their own, and can be taken seriously. The plot is interesting enough, and flows smoothly. The last 10-minutes go into more goofy-territory, but it ends the film with some fun moments.

A economical way of showing an alien is by just making an actor roll his eyes up, just like in this movie. Alien vampire done Roger Corman style. An entertaining flick, low budget and doesn't really use that much special effects. A lot of deaths but not a lot of blood. Recommended!

I'm sorry but half of the movie didn't make sense. The acting was mediocre and the plot was confusing. Disappointed when they started looping towards the end. Also confused by the dragon-mushroom thing that flew off and ate someone's head? But yet.....the plot twists were reasonable at times. I was surprised by some plot effects and will rate this better because of them

One of Roger Corman's many late fifties sci-fi drive in pieces, this film's plot is one of the "aliens need our bodily fluids" type movies that actually does it pretty uniquely. The dialogue is laughable and the cheapness pours out of every frame, but it's not quite as ludicrously enjoyable as Attack of the Crab Monsters.

"This guy is six kinds of a freak." Sockhoppers, Vacuum Salesmen, Winos, and Nurses Beware! Paul Birch's space vampire will burn your brain with his hot radioactive eyes! Not of This Earth contains some of Roger Corman's best actors with Beverly Garland's In-Home Care Nurse taking the lead and Dick Miller (credited as Richard Miller) stopping by as the aforementioned doomed Vacuum Salesmen. His short scene is worth the admission price. VF.
